A benzodiazepine used to treat anxiety disorders and seizures.

Desvenlafaxine: Major depressive disorder (MDD).

Clonazepam: Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), panic disorder, seizures, and certain types of movement disorders.

Desvenlafaxine Increases levels of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain, which are neurotransmitters involved in mood regulation.Clonazepam Enhances the effects of a neurotransmitter called GABA, which has calming effects on the brain and nervous system.

Clonazepam is available in tablet and liquid forms and is taken by mouth.

Desvenlafaxine: Nausea, headache, drowsiness, constipation, dry mouth, dizziness.

Clonazepam: Drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, impaired coordination, memory problems, dependence.

Alcohol Consumption

May increase the risk of drowsiness and impaired coordination.



While Driving or operating Machinery

May impair alertness and reaction time, avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Children

Not generally prescribed for children.



Kidney

Caution is advised in patients with kidney problems.
