An angiotensin ii receptor blocker (arb) that helps relax blood vessels.
A thiazide diuretic that increases urine production, lowering blood volume and blood pressure.
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), often when other medications haven't been effective enough.
May be used alone or in combination with other blood pressure medications.
Telmisartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels. Chlorthalidone increases the excretion of sodium and water from the body, reducing blood volume and pressure. This combined action leads to a more significant reduction in blood pressure than either drug alone.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
Dosage should be determined by a doctor based on individual health conditions and response to treatment.
Typically taken once daily, with or without food.
Do not abruptly stop taking the medication; consult your doctor for proper discontinuation.

Alcohol may increase the risk of low blood pressure and dizziness. Limit alcohol intake.
May cause dizziness or lightheadedness; avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
Not recommended during pregnancy. Consult your doctor immediately if pregnancy occurs. Use with caution during breastfeeding; discuss with your doctor.
