Nebivolol

A beta-blocker medication that helps relax blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.

Amlodipine

A calcium channel blocker that also widens blood vessels, reducing blood pressure.

Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension)

May be used alone or in combination with other medications for blood pressure control

Nebiloc Am 5mg Tab (Nebivolol + Amlodipine) both work by relaxing blood vessels and decreasing the force of the heart's contractions, leading to lower blood pressure. Nebivolol specifically blocks the effects of adrenaline on the heart, while Amlodipine prevents calcium from entering the muscle cells of the heart and blood vessels.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep the medication in its original container, tightly closed.

Dosage is determined by your doctor and depends on your individual needs and response to treatment.

Usually taken once daily, preferably at the same time each day.

Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew the tablet.

Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Rarely: serious side effects like liver problems, low blood pressure, or a slow heart rate.

Swelling of ankles or feet

Slow heart rate

Nausea

Constipation

Runny nose

Cough

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may enhance the effects of nebivolol and amlodipine and may lead to low blood pressure. Avoid excessive alcohol intake while taking this medication.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

Dizziness and fatigue are possible side effects. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Nebivolol and Amlodipine are not recommended during pregnancy. Consult with your doctor about the risks and benefits of this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

Not recommended for children.



Kidney

May need dosage adjustment for patients with kidney problems.



Liver

May need dosage adjustment for patients with liver problems.
