Tobramycin

Is an aminoglycoside antibiotic.

Treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible strains of aerobic gramnegative bacteria.

Often used in combination with other antibiotics for synergistic effect.

Treatment of certain types of pneumonia, urinary tract infections, intraabdominal infections, and septicemia.

Nayatob 0.3% Eye Ointment (Tobramycin) inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, leading to misreading of mRNA and ultimately preventing bacterial growth and replication.

Store at controlled room temperature (20-25°C/68-77°F). Protect from light and moisture. Discard any unused portion after the expiry date.

Dosage is determined by the severity of the infection, patient's renal function, and the specific formulation (e.g., intravenous, intramuscular, or topical).
