Type 2 diabetes mellitus (noninsulin-dependent diabetes) when diet and exercise alone are not sufficient to control blood sugar levels.
Jubiglim M3 Tab (Glimepiride + Metformin) work together to lower blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes. Glimepiride stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin, while metformin reduces the liver's production of glucose and enhances the body's sensitivity to insulin.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
Dosage should be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and response to treatment.
Typically taken orally with meals, usually once or twice daily.
Do not crush or chew the tablets.
Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar): Symptoms include sweating, trembling, dizziness, headache, and confusion.
Gastrointestinal problems: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain.
Skin rash.
Weight gain.
Vitamin B12 deficiency.
Alcohol may increase the risk of hypoglycemia. Avoid or limit alcohol consumption.
If you experience hypoglycemia, you may have difficulty concentrating and driving safely. Avoid driving or operating machinery until your blood sugar levels are stable.
This medication is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor about safe alternatives.
