Treatment of heart failure in conjunction with other medications.
Ramipril blocks the production of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels. Hydrochlorothiazide increases urine output, reducing blood volume and thus blood pressure. Together, they provide a more potent blood pressure-lowering effect than either drug alone.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.
