A thiazide diuretic that helps your body remove excess fluid and salt, also lowering blood pressure.
High blood pressure (hypertension)

To reduce the risk of stroke in patients with high blood pressure and/or heart disease.
Hopace H 10mg Tab (Ramipril + Hydrochlorothiazide) works by: Ramipril: Blocks the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, a powerful vasoconstrictor. This relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide: Increases urine production by blocking the reabsorption of sodium and chloride in the kidneys, reducing fluid volume and blood pressure.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep the medication out of reach of children and pets.
Dosage is determined by your doctor and depends on your medical condition and response to treatment.
Usually taken once daily, with or without food.
Swallow the tablets whole, do not crush, break, or chew them.
It is important to take this medication regularly as directed by your doctor, even if you feel well. Stopping the medication abruptly can lead to serious consequences.
Less Common: Muscle cramps, rash, changes in taste
Common: Dizziness, headache, fatigue, cough, diarrhea, upset stomach
Serious (rare): Angioedema (swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat), low blood pressure, kidney problems, liver problems
Alcohol can worsen the side effects of this medication, including dizziness and low blood pressure. Avoid excessive alcohol intake.
This medication can cause dizziness and drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
This medication is not recommended for pregnant women as it can harm the fetus. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Alternative treatments may be recommended.
This medication is not typically prescribed for children.
If you have kidney problems, your doctor may need to adjust the dosage or monitor your kidney function closely.
If you have liver problems, your doctor may need to adjust the dosage or monitor your liver function closely.
