Fetiz S 1000mg/500mg Injection (Ceftazidime + Sulbactam) works by killing bacteria that cause infections. Ceftazidime prevents bacteria from forming cell walls, which are essential for their survival. Sulbactam protects ceftazidime from being inactivated by bacterial enzymes called beta-lactamases, ensuring that ceftazidime can effectively kill the bacteria.
Store ceftazidime + sulbactam at room temperature, away from heat and light. Do not freeze. Keep it in its original container.
The dosage of ceftazidime + sulbactam will depend on the type and severity of your infection, your age, weight, and kidney function.
It is typically administered intravenously (into a vein) by a healthcare professional.
