Amoxicillin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death. Clavulanic acid inhibits beta-lactamases, enzymes produced by certain bacteria that break down amoxicillin, thus extending amoxicillin's effectiveness against resistant bacteria.
Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiry date.

Take the medication with a full glass of water, preferably with food to minimize stomach upset.
Complete the full course of antibiotics, even if you start to feel better. Stopping early can lead to treatment failure and antibiotic resistance.
