Liraglutide

Liraglutide is the active ingredient in medications like Victoza, Saxenda, and others.It is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist.

Type 2 diabetes: Liraglutide is used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes.

Weight management: Liraglutide (Saxenda) is used for chronic weight management in adults with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or greater (obese) or a BMI of 27 or greater (overweight) with at least one weight-related comorbidity (e.g., high blood pressure, high cholesterol).

Victoza Inj 3ml (Liraglutide) works by mimicking the action of a naturally occurring hormone called GLP-1. GLP-1 helps regulate blood sugar levels by stimulating insulin release from the pancreas, slowing down the absorption of glucose from the gut, and decreasing appetite.

Store liraglutide in the refrigerator between 36°F and 46°F (2°C and 8°C). Do not freeze.

Dosage and frequency vary depending on the specific medication and your individual needs. It is important to follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Liraglutide is usually injected once daily under the skin (subcutaneously).

You can inject liraglutide in your abdomen, thigh, or upper arm.

Alcohol Consumption
