Scipdep 5mg Tab (Escitalopram) is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a neurotransmitter in the brain, which is thought to be involved in regulating mood, sleep, and other functions. By blocking the reuptake of serotonin, escitalopram enhances its effects in the synaptic cleft.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication as directed by your pharmacist or healthcare provider.

Dosage will be determined by your doctor and depends on your condition and response to treatment.

Start with a low dose and gradually increase as directed.

Take the medication at the same time each day, with or without food.

Do not stop taking escitalopram suddenly without consulting your doctor; it should be tapered off gradually to minimize withdrawal symptoms.
