Hyolme 10mg Tab (Olmesartan Medoxomil) blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to narrow. By blocking angiotensin II, olmesartan medoxomil helps relax blood vessels, lowering blood pressure and reducing strain on the heart and kidneys.
Store at room temperature between 20°C and 25°C (68°F and 77°F). Protect from moisture and light. Keep out of reach of children.
Dosage is determined by your doctor and will depend on your individual health condition and response to treatment.
It is typically taken once daily, with or without food.
Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets. Swallow them whole with water.

Hyperkalemia (high potassium levels)
Hypotension (low blood pressure)
Alcohol may increase the risk of dizziness and low blood pressure. Limit alcohol consumption while taking olmesartan medoxomil.
Olmesartan may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
Olmesartan is contraindicated in pregnancy. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
The safety and efficacy of olmesartan medoxomil in children have not been fully established.
Kidney function should be monitored, especially in patients with pre-existing kidney disease.
Liver function should be monitored, especially in patients with pre-existing liver disease.
