Hoperam 1.25mg Tab (Ramipril) works by blocking the action of an enzyme called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE). ACE is involved in the production of a hormone that constricts blood vessels. By blocking ACE, ramipril causes blood vessels to relax and widen, lowering blood pressure.
