This combination medication works by decreasing the production of androgens (male hormones) in the body. Cyproterone acetate blocks the action of testosterone at the receptor level, while ethinyl estradiol suppresses the production of androgens in the ovaries.
Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
The dosage of cyproterone + ethinyl estradiol varies depending on the condition being treated and the patient's individual needs. It is usually taken once daily, with or without food.
It is important to take this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking it without talking to your doctor first.
